Executive Summary



Ntungo Noble Projects is a registered humanitarian program and ministry headquartered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and dedicated to implementing community-guided empowerment training, mentorship and poverty relief programming for the community of Mwambezi village in Mbala District of the Republic of Zambia.


The community of Mwambezi village is located 12 km south-west of Mbala town on Chitimbwa Road and 1000 km from Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia. Poverty at Mwambezi village is manifested in people lacking life and trades skills for achieving basic human needs and amenities. The community lacks a school, a healthcare facility, adequate water supply, decent housing, food security and environmental stewardship.


The mission of Ntungo Noble Projects Ministry is to lift the people of Mwambezi village out of poverty. The community-guided empowerment training and mentorship program includes practicums that involve participants in developing the much-needed and community empowering amenities, especially the School and the Clinic. Ntungo Noble Projects Ministry accepts support in form of donations from persons who choose to be Friends of Mwambezi Village, an online community, whose membership is open to the compassionate citizens of the world.


Dr. Chrispin Ntungo serves as the ministry Executive Director assisted by a five-member volunteer advisory board. Guided by Biblical principles, Dr. Chrispin Ntungo embraces and lives out the words of Titus 2:2, "That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience," all to the glory of God.




Community Leadership Training and Mentoring



Ntungo Noble community-guided empowerment involves meeting with the community to find out their poverty relief needs. Then spending time with leaders training them in leadership skills and mentoring them in how to work to achieve their community poverty relief goals.

Ntungo Noble trains community members in life skills and construction trades skills. Participants include both men and women with special focus on the youth. After training, participants are given practicums that involve projects that fulfill poverty relief needs of the community. This experience empowers participants by equipping them with skills, having confidence and venturing out to look for opportunities to apply their skills.
